The Douglas Shire Council Resilient Coast program is managed by the Resilient Coast Working Group, supported by Alluvium Consulting Pty Ltd, Jeremy Benn Pacific (JBP), Natural Capital Economics and the Resilient Coast Stakeholder Advisory Group.
Alluvium Consulting is a catchment to coast consultancy company, with a strong focus on the linkages between the natural environment and the communities which rely on it.
Jeremy Benn Pacific (JBP) is a specialist coastal and flood modelling company, leaders in extreme weather statistics (including waves, sea levels and cyclones), coastal hazard assessments and engineering design.
Natural Capital Economics (NC Economics) is focused on helping clients to understand and resolve the most complex and pressing challenges related to climate change, energy and water resources, agriculture, waste and our natural environment.
The Resilient Coast Stakeholder Advisory Group is made up of key stakeholders, including Councillors, industry bodies, Traditional Owner representatatives and relevant government departments. The purpose of the Group is to suppport the Resilient Coast program by ensuring the views of key stakeholders are appropriately considered throughout the development of the Resilient Coast Strategic Plan.
